Llanymynech Golf Club – Knockout General Rules

1. Payment of Fees

All entry fees for knockout competitions must be paid at the time of entering the competition.

2. Availability for Finals Day

Members entering any knockout competition must ensure they are aware of, and available to play on, the scheduled Finals Day.

3. Unavailability During the Knockout Schedule

If, at any point during the knockout schedule, a member becomes aware that they will not be available to play on Finals Day, they must not arrange or play any further matches and must inform the Competitions Committee immediately.

4. Multiple Final Qualifications

If a member qualifies for more than one knockout final, the ties will be played across the designated Finals Weekend.

5.No Extensions

No extensions to play‑by dates will be granted under any circumstances.

6. Handicap Eligibility Requirement

All entrants must have a minimum of three counting cards for handicap purposes within the rolling twelve‑month period prior to playing their second‑round tie.

If you do not meet this requirement, you must notify the Competitions Committee, who will decide whether you may continue in the competition.

Failure to notify the Competitions Committee may result in disqualification and a bye being awarded to the opposing participant(s).
